Professor of Medicine at Universidade Nove de Julho (UNINOVE). Teaches the following courses in the Medical Program: Morphofunctional Foundations and Cellular and Molecular Foundations. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine with a specialization in Molecular Biology from Universidade Nove de Julho (2010). Currently serves as an Assistant Researcher at the Liver Transplantation and Surgery Laboratory – LIM-37, Department of Surgery, Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP), and is a Postdoctoral Fellow (2024) in the same department. Earned a PhD in Sciences from the Cellular, Genetic and Molecular Nephrology Laboratory – LIM-29, University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP) (2015). Has research experience in basic Nephrology, particularly in experimental models of chronic kidney disease and peritoneal fibrosis. His current research focuses on the immunological mechanisms triggered by brain death, as well as the immunological pathways involved in hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury.
